These photographers mostly take pictures of Slinkachu with food.
I really like the picture with the figures on the bikes, it is very clever how the photographer has used food as a race track and how he has captured the image. He has used a small depth of field, the aperture and the focus point is accurate, I like how the photographer has taken the picture from a distance to show what it looks like on a table. |
This picture to me is very funny because it shows a figure trying to pump up a squashed grape he has created a work place as the figures have hard helmets on. The photographer has used a medium depth of field and the composition suits the picture. The sizes of the props used are suitable sizes. |

The sculptures can be found in gutters, on top of buildings, on top of bus shelters, in many unusual and unlikely places. In my opinion they look and are quite scary.
This is my favourite from the other pictures, because first of all I personally like it and I like the way the height changes from the left guy to the right guy, it looks like there is a staircase going underwater. The first guy is the lowest and the last guy is the highest. The reflection makes the picture look good and I don't know how he got the first person to be so small because I thought they were all the same height. It is quite scary, the way the figures faces look and I have noticed all of the men have the same head which is bald. The sizes of the props used are suitable sizes.
Slinkachu, a German Photographer who's 'little people' project began in 2006.
His work involves using miniature figures and creating a scene.
His art has been placed in many places such as London and Norway.
He has another project 'Inner City Snail' project, which is where he uses non toxic spray paint to graffiti on real snails.
He likes the idea that hardly no-one notices his work because we never notice everything that goes on in the world, even if we intend to.
I like Slinkachu's work because it's different and I think you would need a wide imagination to appreciate the beauty of it.

Shoot 1
In this picture I tried to make a story of a man drilling and making a hole. I have put a circle around where he is and a sign saying "DANGER" similar to when miners put a sign up.
My Worst Picture
This picture in my opinion is my worst picture, because first of all the lighting is over exposed and everything is out of focus. I should have focused and taken my time to capture this picture, and I should have used some small pieces or rocks from the floor to make it look realistic and to make sense. In my next shoot I will improve on my composition viewpoints. I will also try and use the rule of thirds so that it doesn't look boring with just one section.
My Best Picture
This picture in my opinion is the best picture because it looks realistic and it focuses on the man, even though you can see the blue tac, I know that I should use less on my second shoot. I used the little wood/rock pieces to look like it is actually a work scene, but it is not in this picture, however it still looks good without it. It isn't too dark or too light. There is a small depth of field, focused in only one area, because there is only a small area in focus, which is needed. This is my first shoot so next time I will need to improve on my composition, because it should have been on one level. The viewpoint is worms eye view, and you can see the whole platform. The sizes of the props used are suitable sizes.
